Ember Moon Criticizes WWE Booking Decisions
Ember Moon recently made an appearance on Booker T’s podcast where she talked about the various issues that she had with the way that the company was booking different talent in the company.
She said that it was seen that each show there were four Superstars who were being build up consistently. There were maybe one or two Superstars other than those four who were the focus, but mid-card talents like Humberto Carrillo, Akira Tozawa, or Drew Gulak were often ignored as a result and they were just kept to face the top Superstars and have good matches, but never get anything from it.
“Now, when I feel like I turn on the TV, when I see Drew McIntyre vs. Cedric Alexander, I don’t believe that Cedric Alexander is going to win even though he’s a phenomenal athlete and former Cruiserweight Champion. I don’t believe it because they haven’t done anything to make me care about it. He jumped off the stage once. With the roster being so big, maybe we need a rotating roster. I feel like we’ve lost that ability to tell stories with the lower card.”
While similar concerns have been stated in the past by WWE fans who have felt that very few WWE Superstars get the opportunity to shine, in recent weeks, it has felt as if WWE has been trying to push more of their talent.
Hopefully, Ember Moon’s concerns prove to be false, and the Superstars on the roster get their own moments to shine at some point.
