Kentucky Town Renamed After King Corbin
A town in Kentucky, United States, has now been named after King Corbin. The WWE Superstar had a big year in 2019. After facing Kurt Angle in his retirement match at WrestleMania 35, Corbin then went on to win the King of the Ring tournament later in the year.
His reign as ‘King’ has seen him focus his attention on Roman Reigns, with Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler, and the Revival, all supporting him in his vendetta. Ruling over the Blue Brand, Corbin has now officially expanded his Kingdom.
There was recently a campaign by WWE to have the town named Corbin, Kentucky renamed to be King Corbin, Kentucky.
Suzie Razmus, the mayor of the town responded to the campaign and revealed that she was agreeing to the change in name, although only for a day. She proclaimed that for the 12th of December, 2020, the town was renamed as King Corbin, Kentucky.
This is sure to be something that Corbin brings up in the future and the WWE Universe will certainly be hearing about it from the King.
