Major Change Made To WrestleMania Match
On last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the former General Manager of the Blue Brand, Paige, had interrupted Sasha Banks and Bayley to announce that the SmackDown Women’s title would have to be defended by Bayley at WrestleMania, where she would be taking on Dana Brooke, Naomi, Lacey Evans, Tamina, and Sasha Banks.
Banks and Bayley were apparently not happy at all with the development, although Sasha appeared to be a little pleased.
However, now a change has been made to the event. In an article on the WWE website, it appears that Dana Brooke is no longer competing in the match, as Bayley will be taking on the other four women in a Fatal Fiveway Elimination match instead.
Wrestling Observer Radio has reported the reason for Dana Brooke being removed from the match is that she was put in quarantine. Right now, it is not believed that she has tested positive or has shown any symptoms.
Nia Jax was rumored to return and be a part of this match as well, but it appears that won’t be happening yet, with the rarely seen Tamina Snuka competing alongside Naomi, Sasha Banks, and Lacey Evans.
