Possible Superstar Who Will Eliminate Brock Lesnar

Paul Heyman, the advocate of ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar recently announced that his client would be entering the WWE Royal Rumble this year at number 1. Heyman said that he knew that the WWE Universe wanted to see Brock Lesnar put on a good match against top wrestlers, but instead of facing any one, he was giving the entire WWE locker room the opportunity to test themselves against Lesnar.

With Lesnar starting the match, any Superstar coming out have the opportunity to face the current WWE Champion in the ring. Given that Lesnar is quite dominant, and also one of the biggest names to ever come to the WWE, whoever is able to eliminate Lesnar is sure to get a major push heading into WrestleMania. Not only that, but there are currently rumors that whoever eliminates Lesnar will also be the Superstar who gets to then face him at the biggest WWE show of the year, at WrestleMania.

Now, reports have emerged which say that the Superstar to face Brock Lesnar at the event might be none other than Cain Velasquez. According to a report by Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda, there is a big chance that Cain Velasquez is still the front runner to be the one to eliminate Lesnar. While at one point of time WWE had a huge feud planned between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez, this is no longer the case due to the way their match turned out at WWE Crown Jewel. Velasquez was originally supposed to face Lesnar in a singles match at Royal Rumble, but plans were cancelled as Velasquez lost the favour of the WWE authority figures.

“What’s most likely to happen that it’s going to be Cain Velasquez. But we are where we are with that one. I have mentioned in a previous report for Sportskeeda that the initial plan was for the Royal Rumble to feature another Cain Velasquez match or at least, Cain Velasquez would still be competing with Lesnar at some point. There was a little bit of loss of faith in Velasquez, so that could be at play here.”
