Sasha Banks is back on WWE programming and is getting the Superstar treatment she hasn’t gotten for a few years on the main roster. Her return brought an end to a protracted saga that first began when she dropped the Women’s tag-team championships alongside Bayley, as stories began circulating that Banks was done with WWE and wanted to be released from her contract.
There are obviously conflicting reports to this situation, as sources claimed that Banks needed time off to clear her head and make a decision about her future, while others stated that her taking time off was nothing out of the ordinary for a WWE star as heavily featured as the Legit Boss.
The fact that Banks was extremely unhappy about losing the tag-team belts is no secret, and after having been put on the back-burner for the last couple of years, it wouldn’t be surprising to learn that she was unhappy. Banks’ alleged release was turned down by the company, and it seems like she has reconciled her difference with WWE.
Sasha Banks has now re-signed with WWE and she also received some special perks as well. In a recent interview, she revealed what her relationship with Vince McMahon is like and what perks she received from the company.
“Since I came back, he gave me a really good contract. We have this great relationship, because, you know, we talk money. He wants me to make him cool so I’m just helping him with his jokes, we’ll text jokes to each other every single day. He sends me a private jet. He gave me my own bus. I’m just so blessed. I’m probably the first-ever woman to have her own bus.”Sasha Banks
