Sasha Banks Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction on Raw – 5 Botches That Happened On This Week’s Edition of RAW

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw WWE build up hype WWE Royal Rumble 2019 in the go-home show for the pay-per-view. As they headed towards the pay-per-view, there were quite a few segments and matches used to continue the storylines. On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, however, there were quite a lot of botches on the show. So let’s talk about the botches we saw on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

The Singh Brothers and the pinfall

When Jinder Mahal enters the ring, a botch is never quite that far away. While the Modern Day Maharaja has improved a great deal from his initial run in the WWE, he is far and away from being the perfect star that he proclaims himself to be. However, when he teamed up with the Singh Brothers to face Lucha House Party, it was not him that messed up.

Sunil Singh was being pinned by a member of the Lucha House Party, and the pinfall was supposed to be broken up by Samir Singh. However, Samir was not able to reach his brother in time, and Sunil also failed to kick out. The match came to a premature end that no one was expecting, leaving everyone looking awkwardly at each other.

Strowman and the hair that wasn’t

Braun Strowman faced Finn Balor in a match to open Monday Night RAW. Balor was extremely distracted given that Brock Lesnar was present at ringside. Balor was outside and had his back to Strowman. Strowman reached out of the ring, in a move that giants often use to get their opponents in the ring, by trying to grab their head and hair and pulling them in. However, given that Balor does not have much hair, Strowman’s grip slipped. They had to adjust hastily so that Balor did not fall badly, and this again created an awkward situation.

A botched debut

Lacey Evans made a clear debut on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw when she interrupted Alexa Bliss’ announcement of a return on the Moment of Bliss. However, the moment was one that she will not be treasuring. The moment she took the microphone from Alexa Bliss, her hat slipped over her eyes. She adjusted it immediately afterwards, but the damage was done as the fans on Social Media and in the crowd had noticed it.

The most blatant botch of the night was actually what opened the show. During Finn Balor’s match with Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar was present at ringside. Other than being a huge, dangerous, and distracting presence, Balor was also caught by ‘The Beast’ when he dove to the outside and sent for a huge suplex. The referee for some reason did not ring the bell for the disqualification on the spot. The match continued as if nothing had happened.

While this would have been puzzling, it was still something that could be given a pass if not for the way that the match ended.

At the end of the match, Lesnar entered the ring and hit the F5 on Finn Balor. The referee immediately called for the bell and ended the match. The way the first disqualification interference was completely ignored was also one of the most negative moments on the show. Hopefully their match at the WWE Royal Rumble will be free of such a botch.

Wardrobe Malfunction

Sasha Banks and Bayley teamed up to face Rousey and Natalya. The match ended with Banks making Natalya tap out, which resulted in Rousey taking her first loss in the WWE. But during the match, Natalya went up to lift Banks, but the screen quickly blacked out for a few seconds, and that was because during the move Banks shorts were pulled down.
