Seth Rollins Injury Forced Him Not To Wrestle
Seth Rollins finally turned on WWE RAW, when he made his alliance with the Authors of Pain very clear to everyone who was watching.
Ever since The Authors of Pain interfered in a match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, to attack Owens and then leaving, there has been speculation that Seth Rollins had formed an alliance with Authors of Pain. This was a theory that Kevin Owens certainly subscribed to, as he made his thoughts about Rollins and the Authors of Pain clear.
On RAW, Owens was attacked by the Authors of Pain backstage from behind and utterly destroyed by throwing him into the different parts of the backstage area. They were then joined by a hooded figure, who was revealed to be Seth Rollins, looking a lot like he had when he first debuted as The Shield back in WWE.
The trio then appeared in front of the crowd and confirmed that they were now a stable and they would be working together and standing together going forward.
With this now confirmed, it appears that WWE is trying to build the Authors of Pain as a separate Shield-like faction, only surrounding Seth Rollins and using his already heelish presence to get over.
It is being reported that Seth Rollins was also supposed to have a match on Raw. He was supposed to be facing Cedric Alexander, but WWE had to change the plans because Rollins broke his finger at a house show on Sunday. So, it doesn’t appear that we will see him face Kevin Owens at TLC.
