Triple H Thinks The “Sky Is The Limit” For A Raw Star
In an interview with Sportskeeda, The Cerebral Assassin Triple H said that he thinks the sky is the limit for The Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre. The former Chosen One is one of the most intimidating figures in all of WWE. He has an impressive move-set and is the perfect mix of athleticism and raw power, while being a strong mic worker as well.
Unfortunately, the former Intercontinental and NXT Champion has never been given the opportunity to ascend to main-event status and establish himself as one of the top stars on Raw or Smackdown. His run as Shane McMahon’s enforcer destroyed whatever little momentum he had, and since then, he has been struggling to establish himself as a top-tier talent in WWE.
Over the last couple of weeks, McIntyre has been destroying the competition and having a blast while doing so. The Royal Rumble can serve as the ideal launching pad for McIntyre to finally establish himself as the main-event star he should have been years ago.
In his interview, The Game said, “I think it’s a possibility. Drew has had an incredible run, started off at such a young age, and he’s still so young now and he’s kind of just coming into his own now as a performer, really. I told him that the sky is the limit for him. He left for a while, he had to go clear himself out and realize what he wanted, and step away and come back even better. He’s an incredibly hard worker and he’s as serious as serious can be. He wants to be the best in the world and, when you have that type of attitude and that strong work ethic, absolutely, it’s a possibility.”
McIntyre has been praised by legends like Ric Flair and The Rock in the past, and there is absolutely no questioning his pedigree. All that is lacking is some faith from WWE.
