Undertaker Apologises To AEW Star
This week on Monday Night Raw, The Undertaker cut one of the greatest promos of his career. Instead of sticking to his Deadman shtick, The Phenom addressed his Wrestlemania opponent AJ Styles as Mark Callaway, and not The Deadman.
During the promo, ‘Taker stated that he took exception to the fact that The Phenomenal One called out his way. The Phenom even brought out his old, iconic, “I’ll make you famous” catchphrase, before referring to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows as ‘ass clowns’.
After the show, a fan took to Twitter and stated that Chris Jericho, who popularized the use of the phrase ‘ass clowns’ could slap The Undertaker with a lawsuit if he wanted to. Y2J caught wind of the tweet and responded saying, “Hardly! He’s the @undertaker…he can use as many of my catch phrases as he wants!!!”
Taker then responded to the tweet saying, “My bad @IAmJericho …. I knew I had heard that somewhere before….” ‘Taker has become far more active on social media over the last few months and it was cool to see him interact with someone he shares a ton of history with. Jericho and ‘Taker have crossed paths a few times over the course of their careers, with Jericho even beating The Deadman to win the World Heavyweight Championship in the Elimination Chamber back in 2010.
