Update On The Top Feud On Raw

This week on Raw, the fist-fight between the team of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe and Big Show versus Seth Rollins and the AOP came to an end when Buddy Murphy aligned himself with the Monday Night Messiah to put away the World’s Largest Athlete.

Murphy appears to have become the fourth member of Rollins’ young stable, which should serve to feature him prominently on the red brand for months to come.

According to Dave Meltzer, Big Show was not expected to stick around in this feud for the long-term, but with Rey Mysterio still feuding with Andrade for the United States Championship, the World’s Largest Athlete might stick around for a little while longer. With the heel faction now having four members, even if WWE had stuck to its original plans and written Show off, the faces would have been a member short once Mysterio joined. Unless of course, this happens.

Aleister Black has dominated Buddy Murphy in their feud, defeating him thrice in a row in a serious of fantastic, hard-hitting matches. The repeated losses appear to have pushed Murphy to align himself with Rollins, who seems hell bent on showing the Raw roster “the way”.

Now that Murphy has joined Rollins, fans have questioned where Aleister Black will go next. According to a report from Cageside Seats, the Dutch Destroyer is still in line for a massive push up the card. It has previously been reported that Paul Heyman is a big fan of both Murphy and Black, and if WWE still plans on writing Big Show off TV, Black may take his place to even the odds for the babyfaces as they seek to end Seth Rollins’ reign of tyranny on Raw.
