New Day gets a lot of credit for practically carrying the tag-team division through hell and back, but The Usos deserve a lot more recognition than they have gotten. Once the twins are done with in-ring competition and hang up their boots, they will go down in history as one of the greatest tag-teams of all time.
They have evolved with the times and have won multiple championships on both shows as faces and heels. They have literally done it all as tag-team competitors.
Considering the number of times the twins have gotten into legal trouble and have been arrested, it is really surprising that WWE has featured them as prominently as they have. Back in January, 2018, Jey Uso got arrested for DWI after a live event in Hidalgo, Texas. He ended up being released on a $500 bond later the same day. Reports soon broke that Jey was pulled over around 1 in the morning for a routine traffic violation and appeared to be intoxicated. He reportedly then proceeded to absolutely bomb the sobriety test and was promptly imprisoned.
Jey is the better of the two twins though, as Jimmy Uso was booked for a DUI in 2011 and in 2013 for violating his probation by driving with a suspended license. Jimmy turned two arrests into three in late July, as he was again arrested for a DUI in Pensacola, Florida.
The Twins have now been off of TV since August and it appears they will be making their return soon. The Usos will be making the move back to WWE on FOX’s premiere episode of SmackDown.
