WWE Talent Happy That Vince McMahon Is Permanently Gone From The Company

When Vince McMahon sold WWE to Endeavor, many were happy that the company would finally be out of his hands. While he forced his way back into the company after being forced to retire due to the Janel Grant allegations, people were happy that Vince was losing control. However, that excitement dropped when we learned he would be a top executive in the new “TKO Group.” This publicly traded part of the company combined the UFC and WWE under the same stock, which has gone well so far. The Grant Lawsuit changed everything, though, and now Vince McMahon is permanently gone from WWE.

Vince claimed to be retiring yet again, which many were skeptical about. After all, he did this before and forced his way back in. However, this was not going to work out the same way. Beforehand, Vince essentially had Grant’s allegations buried and killed off the internal investigation. Due to how he did everything, we can safely say laws were broken. This had nothing to do with the Grant stuff, but adding her allegations only worsened things.

This is why Vince McMahon is permanently gone. Even if the Grant lawsuit goes well for Vince, he won’t be welcomed back because of the clear issues that took place when he owned the WWE. Multiple people have come out to talk about their time working for WWE under Vince. Now that he is under federal investigation, they will likely find that he broke various laws. That is all before Janel Grant’s lawsuit, which was put on hold so that the feds could further investigate Vince.

VINCE MCMAHON IS PERMANENTLY GONE, FINALLY

As referenced, the Janel Grant lawsuit was more than enough reason to want Vince McMahon to be out of WWE. Her allegations are not just believable, but they are not unlike other allegations Vince has faced. Of course, this is not the first time Vince has been sued. Former WWE Diva Sable actually sued WWE at one point, which was later dropped. They even brought her back to the company for a little while. Others have sued McMahon before, but much of it was easy to bury or even avoid.

Ms. Grant was not about to let her case go. Again, Vince buried a lot of things when she alerted WWE about Vince’s actions. They forced Vince to retire, allowing his daughter Stephanie McMahon to step up as the new Chairwoman and Co-CEO with Nick Khan. This was when the investigation into Vince began, with some rumors that it was not being done properly. Janel alleged that no one from WWE contacted her to get a statement. That is quite strange for a proper investigation, as one would usually want to speak to the person who made the allegations.

When Vince forced his way back in and took over the company once more, he allegedly had to break some laws to do this, especially when he sold the company to Endeavor. The federal government is currently investigating this part of Vince’s actions. The theory is that this will uncover many issues related to how Vince conducted business, including possible material that might help Janel Grant in her case.

Many in WWE are clearly happy that Vince McMahon is permanently gone. He was a cancer to the professional wrestling business, and it is clear that WWE is doing incredibly well without him.

HOW PEOPLE IN WWE FEEL ABOUT VINCE BEING GONE

Many in WWE were unsure how to feel about McMahon’s departure for a while. It makes sense, considering they saw Vince force his way back before. After Endeavor pretty much confirmed that he was gone permanently, WWE talent and many within the overall corporation were pleased. They were also happy that John Laurinaitis, who was named in Grant’s lawsuit, is now gone, too.

According to Fightful, most WWE employees are not concerned about the company. Most expect that things will be found about Vince McMahon & John Laurinaitis. From a talent standpoint, reportedly, everyone feels rid of them now. They are happy they were gone. There was, again, some false sense of security a few years back. Now, it has been reiterated internally that there is no longer any association between Vince and Endeavor, TKO, or those within WWE. This has made many very happy.

Triple H has done a fantastic job leading WWE’s creative side. He is also opening WWE up to the wider world of professional wrestling, opening the “forbidden door,” if you will. That includes the recent partnership with TNA Wrestling, which has been great for everyone. WWE is also partnering with CyberFight, the owners of DDT Pro & Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. There are also some internal discussions about WWE partnering with CMLL or AAA Wrestling out of Mexico soon.

Partnerships like this would never happen under McMahon’s leadership. Once WWE went public, he closed the company off from most partnerships except the one he had with Paul Heyman and ECW.

TRIPLE H’s CONTROL:

Triple H opened those doors again and has been spectacular with his creative concepts. That is not including how he has slowly been taking WWE out of its PG Era and into more of a friendly TV-14 era. With the new Netflix deal, WWE RAW will head to the streaming platform starting in 2025. It will thankfully remove all restrictions WWE has to deal with on broadcast television. That means they will not have issues with censorship like black screens and muting.

WWE has also been very open to releasing and bringing talent back. This is especially true if they work for another company that WWE is now openly partnering with. For example, WWE has allowed Dana Brooke, now known in TNA as Ash by Elegance, to appear on NXT programming. The company has even rehired people they released, especially those they realized were better than they first thought.

All of this is a big reason why people are happy Vince McMahon is permanently gone from WWE. What we see today, especially the creative we have, would never have happened under his leadership.
