WWE Talent Have Had Enough Of Social Media?

Twitter can be a toxic place and it appears that WWE announcer and backstage interviewer, Kayla Braxton is feeling that currently. After last week Renee Young seemed to crack a little under the constant criticism on Twitter, as she confessed that she was not the best commentator and she was aware of that. She received a ton of positive responses following that. However, now Kayla has seemingly had enough.

“It’s appalling how mean people can be to people they don’t even know. It’s truly sad. We should all strive to be better. Hurting others shouldn’t make you feel better. If it does – well I’ll say a prayer for you.”

She then went on to say that she was going to be taking a break from Twitter for a while and would be back for SummerSlam.

“Oy vey. I think it’s time I take a much needed break from Twitter. A lot of you are great. But a lot of you are disappointing. And I don’t need or want the negativity that some of you enjoy tossing around. Have a great weekend everyone! I’ll be back for summerslam.”

Given that Kayla is active on Twitter and social media, it might be that she has been exposed to a lot of toxicity over the last couple of months.

Seth Rollins who has been very outspoken recently talked about social media in a recent interview.

“Twitter seems to be this cesspool of negativity where its so easy to focus on what you don’t like rather than what you do like.”

Zelina Vega also came out to call out fans that have been crossing a line and hinted at possibly pursuing legal action.

“Your luv and support has always been incredibly appreciated, whether you’re a day 1 or a newbie, I am truly grateful.. but when the support crosses the line into obsession it will not be tolerated and the appropriate parties will be notified for safety reasons. So please, enjoy the product and what I do on TV, make your signs and come say hi at my signings but please, have respect for me and my family.”
