WWE Testing Policy During Tapings
WWE did not stop their production during this entire period, as they were declared an Essential Business. They were said to have practiced safe work and no WWE Superstars seem to have tested for the virus, due to the restrictions the company put in place. One WWE on-air staff tested positive, but that was said to be outside the company and they did not have contact with any WWE Superstars during this time.
NDTV spoke to Alexa Bliss and she talked about how the company has been super safe and has been doing medical grade cleaning regularly. However, the practice of actual testing for the virus is not in use at the moment, despite everyone being extremely careful at this time. There are also temperature and doctor checks before performing.
“Everyone at WWE is being super careful, super cautious and super safe. Before we go on into the Performance Center we have to have our temperatures checked, we have to get evaluated by a doctor. We have to sign a survey that says we haven’t travelled, we haven’t gone anywhere, that we don’t have any symptoms. We’re all wearing masks, we’re practising social distancing. Everything is being cleaned to a medical-grade standard and keeping everyone safe is the main priority right now.”
